MAC-DVD (https://mac-dvd.com) is a static content website. We do not require accounts, we do not sell anything directly, and we collect as little data as we reasonably can. This policy explains what is and is not collected when you visit.

What we collect

• Aggregate analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which articles are read and how the site performs. This is measured in aggregate. We do not build personal profiles or track you across other websites.
• Server and security logs. Our host and CDN (Cloudflare) keep standard access logs - including IP address and user agent - for a limited time to protect the site against abuse and to keep it fast.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we keep your message and contact details only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections.

Cookies

We aim to keep cookies to what is technically necessary. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles. Any analytics we use is configured to minimize personal data. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time without losing access to the content.

Affiliate and external links

Some articles link to external sites, including retailers. A few of these may be affiliate links, which means we could earn a small commission if you buy something - at no extra cost to you. These links never change our verdicts (see our advertising and disclosure policy). Once you leave MAC-DVD, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal data.
• We do not run invasive cross-site ad trackers.
• We do not require you to create an account or hand over personal details to read.

Because we collect very little, this usually concerns emails you have sent us. To make a request, contact us using the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

MAC-DVD is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
